Hi, I am new to young moms and was wondering if anyone had any advice or ideas on how i can get my four year old to eat!! Especially meat. In the past two months or so she has decided that she doesnt like any kinds of meat, whereas before she was happy to try all sorts. At the moment her diet really only consists of bread and cereal. Surely this can't be healthy for her?

Maybe you can find a meal that she can help make. Kids LOVE to eat things they make themselves. I let my kids make their own pizza. I buy the premade Boboli pizza crust, pizza sauce from Ragu, Shredded Motzorella Cheese, and pepperoni...It's really easy to make, and they love it. Maybe you can show her how to make her own cheese crisp, or something easy like that! Hope that helps! Take care!

Well I have a very hungry 4 year old that started off eating anything to being very picky. But the trick is to give her choices. Children love it when they make there own decisions. And my daughter is constantly hungry. Ceral and bread aren't the healthiest things but at least she's eating something. Try making smiley face peanut beutter and jelly sandwiches. Get ABC spagettii's, have her spell out her name and other little things. Make it fun. My daughter went through a phase where she only wanted to eat chicken, no beef. So one day I made a good dinner and just told her it was chicken, lol. Show her new ways to make eating fun, maybe even let her help you cook, my daughter loves that....throwing in the sauce or the salt and pepper. She will come around. Go to Kraftfoods.com, they have pretty good ideas.

hmmm thats a hard one. mayb u could think about getting the kiddy vitamin tablets if shes not eating much other that bread and cereal. hopefully its just a stage and she'll grow out of it. also i seen on tv once about people pureeing vegies etc and hiding in food. apparently they cant tell so you could try that?
