I'm 24years old and have two girls one 8yrs and one 7mo's. I just recently got my tubes tied and I am wondering if there are any other mothers out there that has experienced what they call "Post tubal ligation syndrome" It has been to early for me to tell. But two days after I had my procedure I have my menstual and OMG was it painful and heavy.....

I had my tubal with my C-section and my periods are TERRIBLE. I am on birthcontrol to control the amount of bleeding! I have a tubal and am on birth control! THat kinda makes me chuckle. Oh well, at least I do not have to worry about getting pregnant again!

You just had it done, your body takes 6 weeks to heal. After that then see how you feel.

Nicole: was it your first c-section. ive had 2 and have pains all the time just because of the c-section.

See that is what I have been hearing so far from everyone...and also some complain of anxiety, mood swings, depression, lack of energy, no sex drive and also the cramps. Well it has been a week for me and I was bleeding for 3 days of the heavy stuff plus clots..ewww i know tmi but thought id put it out there. But now today the bleeding has stopped and i feel a bit better. I will keep everyone updated on my side effects as they come along.

OMG!!!! I didn't know there was a name for it. My daughter is 16 months old and the cramps are horrible. I never had cramps until I had my tubal done and now I can barely stand them. I have considered talking to my doctor about pain meds to deal with it. If I had known this would have happened, I would have NEVER had it done
