Hi Claire,

Yup I am tandem feeding. My oldest is down to an end of night feed-all of 5minutes!-if she wakes during the night I feed her then and if she is absolutley hysterical I will then.So its not tandem feeding as in I have to feed them at the same time!!

Do you find they have bonded a bit better with you not taking away breastfeeding from your oldest?Just curious,it seems like Isabella has adapted alot better and isnt so jealous when I feed Sienna cos she knows she can have a turn as well.

:)

My first weaned himself when I was nearly eight months pregnant but every now and again he comes back to it. I really wanted to properly tandem feed but it wasnt to be so I cherish the moments when Noah wants to have a small feed with his brother:) Are you tandem feeding?

Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for your posts! It is so nice to hear that things get easier as your children get older.

Sienna my youngest just started rolling so it wont be long until she is chasing after her big sister!

Again,thank you so much :)

A question:Did anyone tandem breastfeed their children?

My oldest two are 16 months apart and those first few months, I think are the toughest. Once the baby gets mobile and is able to play, they will play together and it gets a lot easier.

My two are 19 months apart and I find it ok. My eldest had only just started walking when my second came along, he was very lazy! lol! But it has been great! I love that the age gap is so close and although we have our moments, over all it's lovely.

hi im 23 and i have 3 boys, my eldest son was 10 mths 3 weeks and and 3 days old when i had my 2nd son, at the start it was crazy i just remember a constant flow of changing, feeding, bathng lol luckily my eldest could walk and h was also able to say the basic things that he wanted lol and number 2 was a good sleeper!! they are 4 and 5 now and are the best of friends they also fight lik ecrazy, i compare it to having twins as the 2nd one picked up things so quickly becaus ethe eldest was doin it..there is a 3 yr gap between 2 and 3 lol and its still just as hard

i'm 23 and i have a 14 month old and a 4 wk old. i dont find it overly hard. of course it keeps me busy. the mornings i find are really busy. when i'm done bathing one the other one needs a bath then its time for my shower. one needs to eat then the other needs to eat. lol it's busy but i actually dont mind it. yes i'm a bit sleep deprived but not overly. my little guy is a good baby though. he goes 4-5 hrs during the night so i get a good 4-5 hrs in. my bf works 12 hr shifts so one wk he works 3 days and the next wk 4 so i have him to help out a lot. i actually like have my children so close together! and their both boys which to me is wonderful!
