Upper abdominal pain

I believe I am pregnant and I am going to my doctor on Monday for a test to be sure. I have been having dull upper abdominal pain for a few days now. I have done some research on this but nothing really seems to fit my symptoms. Everything says that if there is something severely wrong I should have sharp pain on the right side of my abdomen, but I don't have that. My pain is in the middle right between my ribs. I think it may be my ligaments stretching if I am pregnant but I was wondering if anyone else ever had this kind of pain.

Well, I'm having pretty much all the pregnancy signs. I am really hoping I am pregnant because it is hard for my fiance to have kids so maybe just maybe we have a miracle baby in my belly!

Well do you have any idea of how far along you might be? I'm very small framed so my pregnancy has been somewhat painful off and on. Pains kind of like what you are talking about and my doctor chalked it up to round ligament pain. My baby is perfectly healthy and they even already did the gestational diabetes test and everything came back perfect. So if it's not sharp pains it could just be your uterus stretching to get ready for baby. That's what mine was doing in the beginning.

Thanks. My fiance has a 5 year old so by the time this one is born we will have a 6 year old, 3 year old, and a newborn. I will be a stay-at-home mom by then so I hope I can handle it!

Well I mean I'm not a doctor or anything but I was five weeks when I found out I was pregnant. And it was only within a couple weeks my pain started. Mine actually got so bad I went to the ER because I thought something was wrong and they checked everything. Baby was fine and they said it was probably just my everything stretching to get ready. So maybe that's what's going on with you? Are you having any other symptoms with the pain?

I am probably between 5 and 7 weeks. I still have some weight left over from my first pregnancy so I'm a little heavier than I would like to be.
