My one month old always has an upest tummy. I've switched her formula from Infamil Lipil with Iron to Gentle ease like the doctor said and the gassiness has gone away but now she is constipated for two days and then has green really watery stool. I don't know what to do to make her feel better. I've tried to ease up on the formula and use more breastmilk but my milk is weak and she is always hungry. Any ideas?

If you are interested in a healthy approach - I would highly suggest Ultimate Aloe Juice - I love this product for upset stomach, acid reflux, and even the flu. If you'd like more information on it, I can send you some privatly.

Didnt you hear the reports about over 'watering' your babies? There is a reason the formula is supposed to be mixed with so much water. When an infant is overfed water it can flush away important nutrients/sodium/electrolytes they need - be careful with the water, and check with your doctor as far as how much water to give them.

Bryleigh is on Gentlease also.. and she is ALSO constipated! I took her to the doctor yesterday and he confirmed what I have been doing.. giving her 1oz of water and 1/2oz of apple juice twice a day. Similac sucks, it has made every baby I have ever known, including my oldest, fussy and gassy. I say just give her extra water and a tad of apple juice..

Try Similac Alimentum. its kind of expensive but its the only formula that my daughter can tolerate. Its hypoallergenic and its for kids with lactose and protein sensitivity. Its also partially broken down so its supposed to be easier to digest. It was the 13th different formula we tried, but its been a miracle! Best of luck!
