Very Fussy 2 Month old

I have a 2.5 month old little boy, and he's starting to get very fussy. He always wants to be held. Even when hes going down for his naps or at bed time, the only way he will fall asleep is in someones arms, or while lying on my chest.

He wasnt always this way, only in the past month or so. I try everything to calm him down, diaper changes, making sure hes full, giving him some play time etc.

I was just wondering if anyone else had any suggestions on what I can do....

Have you considered using a baby sling? It can be a lifesaver for this stage - around 2-4 months - when colic and fussy periods get to be the worst. Holding him close and snug in a sling may help him calm down and keep him from getting over-stimulated. It will also free up your arms!
