hello everybody....my son is 8 months old and he is a big boy. he was born a big boy.he isnt over weight but lately ive been feeln like he eats alot and i dont want him to become over weight. he always wants food i have or anyone around him has. he eats his baby food. i kno i dnt over feed him. he eats 3 baby meals a day plus snacks in between. plus his formula. and at night he seems to want alot of formulA. he still wakes up at 5 in the morning for a bottle. i try to avoid giving it to him as long as i can but he has a bad temper. and he will scream til his head falls off. the crying doesnt faze me but he starts makin his self sick from crying i get worried....i dont kno what happened, how did he get like that. has any other mother been through that.? if so what did you do???

You never know he might be stocking up for when he is three like my boy these days i think he is living on thin air... Trust your self and trust your son he knows what he needs and so do you. But saying that, no matter what they do or you do you will still worry about them whether they are eating or sleeping or playing right or healthy its never ending... I had a health nurse tell me with my eldest alex that when she was about 8 months that she was over weight and underdeveloped. Completely untrue as she is now tall and skinny and wants to learn things that are above and beyond their age limit so even so called health professionals can get it wrong...

lol thanks...you kno aS a mother you worry about things like that. you see these babies now a then that are extremely heavy for there age and you hate to think of your baby gettn like that. like i said i kno i dnt over feed him and he is active. and the doctors says he is perfect no overweight at all. he is grown at a steady rate since birth. but seein him want to eat so much worries me about furture problems. kids go through so many different growth spurts. and watch there weight is an important one now a days. but thanks for you reply jessica.....

Maybe have a look and see if there is an underlying cause of his over eating?... A Pediatrition should be able to help but don't be too concerned, there are a number of causes for over eating, he is probably just a healthy boy with a healthy appetite. Maybe you just need to watch and make sure he is having enough activity to match the food intake that he is having. Good luck with this and dont' be too concerned Im having trouble with my son eating anything so i would love to trade places.
