Hi Loureen. I'm currently in school right now for my BFA and it is very hard but worth it in the long run. Many of my prof. gave me some sound advice. Don't overload yourself just take on what you can handle and you will be able to finish school. I think it's great that you want to pursue your goals and it will be a good inspiration for your child. My daughter is also six months too, but I agree with what Rachel say also. Make sure you talk to advisors and get advice. :D Best of luck!!!

Hi Lourenn, I'm about to graduate from the University of Minnesota, with a BA in art, I started my second year there when my daughter was only 3 weeks old. So I know all about going to school and raising a baby. It is incredibly hard! But I think it was so worth it. People say that going to school and having a baby is impossible but it is far from impossible. There are only a few tips I can give, because every situation is different but here is what I can tell you. First, promise yourself that you will finish school, no matter what, even if it takes you 10 years. Second, ask for help when ever you feel you need it. Whether, you need someone to watch the baby so you can do homework or just someone to talk to when you feel overwhelmed. There is no way I would have made it through school without the help of my family especially. I wish you the best of luck!

oh and it's great that you have full support from your partner and family. I know that helps a lot too. My bf and family helps me a lot while I'm pursuing my degree!!
