i think a baby is a baby till they are two atleast jeez a one year is defintely still a baby and doesn't look ridiculous with a bottle!

I say stop now and throw them away. No reason for a 1yr old to have a bottle, hes not a baby anymore.

A one year old IS STILL A BABY!! I didn't take my boy's bottles away until they were about 18 mos. They didn't have it all the time just naps and at night, but they were pretty much ready to get rid of them anyways. They had no problems when I threw them out. I think 1 is too soon in my opinion, but that is when alot of mothers wean their babies from bottles.

another reason to stop bottles by the age of 1 is that it can hinder proper dental growth. I've seen it in my friend's son- she kept giving him bottles until he was 1 and a half just to make him happy. now it's not pretty at all and will require serious procedures to correct it.

its recommended that you stop giving children bottles after 1 yrs old cos it can hinder their speech development!
