Honey for brushing your toddler? Honey for their teeth?! That is NOT GOOD. Honey is sugar....sugar roots teeth......not a good mix. Honey for hair? That I could see in some hair types.

As far as honey for consumption.......babies under 12 months should not have honey. Their is a bacteria in honey that can be VERY dangerous for infants. Babies are unable to handle the bacteria like an older child or adult can, so for babies under 12 months it can make them VERY sick and even cause death. Honey for an older child....use in moderation. Honey is sugar, so you don't want to give too much honey as it is not good for their body or their teeth. But a little bit of honey for an older child (1yr and up) is ok.

I'm also confused how you "brush" honey on your baby and why you would.
