My daughter is almost 6 weeks old and has had Baby Acne for nearly 3 weeks.. The doctor said it's normal and it'll go away on it's own... but is there anything I can do to make it go away quicker?? It looks awful... and her skin is so dry... Does anyone have any suggestions??

Hey Jenna, Connor had this too and the best thing is to just leave it and let it clear up on its own. It didn't last too long and it was simply gone one day. Good luck!

My baby had it for about a month... i just washed his face with warm cloth (no soap.. it dries the skin) twice a day and it cleared up. Don't use anything other than water unless your doctor approves it.... baby's skin is so sensitive!

I know exactly how you feel, my son had it horribly from 3 weeks until 6 weeks. It really does take time to go away but Cetaphil cleanser helps a little bit. Once it starts to dry up you can use Cetaphil cream. The good news is that it is usually all gone by 8 weeks!

My baby also had it but only for about a week. As soon as he started having it I read all kinds of information on it and I just washed his face about three times a day with a damp cloth no soap or anything just water. It was gone in a week I continue to was his face off about twice a day and his skin has always been clear since

Let it be. I would say just do the usual wash up with a soft soap when he takes a bath and put lotion (fragrance free) if the skin get dry. It will go away by itself and over cleaning will be irritating to the skin and will just bring on other problems! Baby acne doesn't bother them and that's all that matters.

It will go away on its own! Don't overdry it by washing the face too much, Don't worry my son had it.. they are still adorable. Please don't use anything without talking to a doctor though!

My son also had this problem early on, our doctor told us it would clear up on its own and to not put anything on it because it could just make it worse. It does clear up. For us it lasted about a month and then he was fine.

My daughter had it too,the best thing to do is just wipe her face twice a day with a damp warm water wash cloth....its not recommended to use anything such as cleansers or lotions on baby faces

My friends baby had this and her doctor told her to use Hydrocortisone Cream. It clear in a few days. Hope it works!
