my little girl doesn't have teeth yet :( and she goes back and forth on wanting to crawl. one day she'll love crawling around and the next she will not do it!?! she has just started saying mama and dada on purpose and it's the cutest thing in the world when she calls out for us now :) just last night she figured out how to pull up onto her knees and get into the sitting position while crawling. she also loves to be on her feet...we have a leap frog learning table toy that she loves to stand and hold onto the table and play and we also have the fisher-price laugh and learn kitchen that we BOTH have sooo much fun playing with :) so she really enjoys holding on to things so she can stand on her own, but she hasn't really started trying to step without holding our hands. the strangest thing though, i used to be able to just lay her in her bed and she'd go to sleep on her own...and now she won't do it?!?! so i think she just likes to keep us guessing? she also loves to feed herself her snacks...the gerber fruit/veggie puffs....it's so cute to watch! i started letting her try and feed herself her cereal in the morning with a learning spoon...at times she gets more on her face than in her mouth, but she does better every day :)

My daughter was 7 months on sept 13th. She has no teeth, she shows no interest in crawling but loves to stand and being walked all over. trying to get her to say "mama" and "dada". she says "ma" and "mom" when she's upset but thats about it. she makes all kinds of other sounds and will be talking i'm sure before we know it. She loves to watch Elmo and elmo toys.

Our son has almost 6 teeth and is doing all the same things. He is a crawler, he sits up and is pulling himself to stand and he is 7 months he will 8 in Oct. He loves the baby genius movies! His attention is always directed to that. Sometimes I will watch it with him to help spend time with him but most of the time its so nice I can stick him in his walker toy thing and put his movie on and he is good to go. I usually take time to shower or clean something I can't do with him around. Its so convenient and it helps him with his learning skills apparently too, at least so says it on the special features (for mom).

Our daughter has a little tikes cart that she pushes all over the house. She absolutely loves it, and it is helping her almost walk at 9 months. She stands up on her own and walks 2-7 steps all the time. The teething part is normal. By this age he should have at least his two bottom teeth. The uppers ones will start coming in right after around 8-9 months. Your son will start walking when he feels comfortable and confident enough. Try to encourage him by holding his favorite toy in your hand and let him try to walk to you. Never force it though. If he doesn't want to stand up and try to walk that's okay. Good luck!
