put cheerios or fruit loops in the toilet, and tell him to aim for them, or walk him outside, and tell him to pick a tree to water!

I have 2 girls so I am not that familliar with potty training boys but my granny said that its no different. With my oldest daughter I bought her a potty and the thick cotton undies and some cleaning supplies. I would let her walk around in the undies and take her to the potty every 30 mins. I quickly realized she would not potty if I was in the room, she was shy so i would let her potty while i peeked through the crack in the door. The best thing I have found tho is to let them do it on their own pace. If you rush it they may be rebelious. I started my oldest off at 18 months we ended up stopping and waitin til she was about 2. She just really wasnt interested when she was 18 months. When he is ready you will know bc he will start showing interest in it. And i found it was helpful to reward them when they do start going, even if they do wet first and then finish on the potty, they will know that they are on the right track but most of all be patient. I hope this helps.
