Being a teen mom myself i get many different answers to this question. What is your opinion?

I think some teen mum's can make the best mum's and some can make the worst, same as older mum's. I don't think age as anything to do it. I've been both, I had my oldest at 19 and then went to have my two younger ones when i was 28 and 30, as a teen mum I had more energy and as a older mum I have more patience.

i see them the way i see "normal aged " mothers. It depends on the person. Some people make wonderful mothers, no matter age. some make horrible parents, no matter age.

No one turns 25 and suddenly has some magic ability to be a good mother. It doesn't work that way. We all struggle and we all have our own things to learn.

I will say this i had my first set of kids early. Then a 10 year gap, i had two more. I found i was much much more patient when i was younger. I also had more energy. Maybe that is just me, i doubt it.

i am the youngest of my friends to have a kid (19) and i am financially stable, married, home owner... i dont get along with most mothers my are because generally the ones that go to moms groups were much younger, single, and party alot. i get really tired of hearing some of these girls my age talking about clubbing right after talking about not having much money for food. ive also seen young mom being extremely impatient with their kids (once i almost stepped in she was yelling so bad at her daughter) sometimes i find myself thinking 'she should have waited a little longer' but thats about the individial not teen moms as a whole
