Forget the pullups... I haven't potty trained my daughter (she just turned1) but everyone I know says the pullups kinda help with regrssion on potty trainging and they are way more expensive. But you can buy "big" kids underwear and get the plastic lining that goes over it incase they have an accident and supposedly it feels gross so the child hates peeing in there and they are quicker to learn to go potty on the potty. also instead of pullups just use diapers and change your child like it was a pullup. These are tips parents are giving me who are currently potty training. I hope they help!

Also summer is easier because 10 pairs of shorts is easier to carry around than jeans and easier to change, they also dont get really cold in summer if they do have an accident, also when takin them out do short journeys askin often whether they need a wee!! Try not to use pull ups etc as these feel like nappy!!

Well I used to have a potty in the front room and a step by the toilet, if you have a daughter and you can allow her to watch she will learn by you and if a boy can he watch his dad?? Only try it when he/she knows what a wee is, do they start tellin you when their nappy is wet and dirty and do they say wee wee or tryin to sit on the potty??

If he/she is unsure of these things you can still toilet train them but will prob be trainin for wks on end but if he/she can do all of them they can be dry in hours!!!

Leave it later before trying id you are not very patient and DON'T TELL THEM OFF FOR HAVIN AN ACCIDENT!!

Explain that it is nicer to stay fry and all the bigger people do it... They will get there dont rush them!!

GOOD LUCK!!

Oh I forgot that a friend of mine said that she takes her daughter in every hour and has her daughter sit on the potty for a few minutes just to "try" and she eventually started to go, not every time but she got use to the potty and the routine of stop playing with toys go potty and then go back to playing.
