A lot of woman can't stand being pregnant in the summer because it is too hot and humid so that is one consideration.

I had my first late October and my second in the middle of August. There were no real reasonings for me, but if I end up having a third, I think I would prefer late spring or early summer. This way I have the least amount of time to have to worry about school schedules and stuff like that with a small baby. I could have the summer to build up a routine with the new baby.

I had all my kids in feb./march! And I think it is a perfect time because when you are big it is nice and cool outside so it's not hot and sticky then when the babies are born it is spring time so its just starting to warm up but not too hot!

I had all three of mine in feb/march also. I think it was much easier being pregnant in the winter months, and its easier having my kids older in the summer, they can go in the water and what not. As for my niece that was born in July it was much harder, as she spit up more because of it being to hot and her stomach not handling the hot milk.

it was more for when i could stand being pregnant. IT was much more bearable to be pregnant during the winter and having the baby spring time. :) 2 of my kids were born in may and the last one in june. I had good timing.

Best for you or baby?!
Giving birth in winter is MUCH better then giving birth in summer! I had my daughter in January 2006, yes, we couldn't go for walks right away, but it gave us time to just relax and bond in the hours, once it became spring then we went for walks and left the house more. She never got sick until she was 3ms old, but then it was no longer winter and these were just ear infections.
I had my son June 2010, labor in summer is bad, after we left the hospital it was too hot outside for a new born. He is pale and my daughter and I are olive skinned, she is a tad darker then me, but I was terrified that he would get burned or he could even suffocate with how humid it gets up here in WI. I just think it is easier to deal with a 6m old in summer then a brand new baby. You know.
My poor mom had me in August and my brother in June, she had two summer babies... poor her!
I guess it also depends on where you live, how the summers and winters are.. here in WI we have pretty extreme for both seasons. I would love a spring baby... so beautiful, not too hot (normally), not too cold... it's still only about 30 degrees and were getting snow again today.
The only thing I don't like about my daughter being born a month after christmas is I have people trying to combine Christmas and her birthday... I just don't find that as being fare. You know. I mean we don't even do that. Everyone is different though.
