I give my son "behavior medicine" I draw up about 1/3 ml of vineger in a medicine syringe and squirt it in his mouth. It tastes aweful so it takes care of what ever bad behavior that is occurring, and I know it will not hurt him. We have seen a complete turn around from a smart-mouthed ugly talking little boy to a very sweet little angel.

I have the same issue. My daughter is three and when she talks back I have a hard time restraining my laughter. She however has learned to hate the corner. I tell her to stick her nose in the corner. This also allows you to silently giggle to yourself without being noticed. I have learned the word NO has no effect if used all the time. I hope this helps.
