My daughter is 10 and is going into 5th grade. She is the sweetest little girl but has problems making and keeping friends. I don't know what the problem is but she has never stayed the night at anyone's house, we have offered to let her have friends over but nothing. She never calls anyone, no one ever calls her, ect. She comes home sad from school saying she has no friends but when we talked to the teacher about it, she said that she has tons of friends at school and it is nothing to be worried about. What do you guys think? I think every mom just wants to know that their kid fits in.

My 11 yr old son has the same problem! Is your daughter an only child? My son is for now and I think that is where the biggest issue is coming in because all of his friends have siblings and I know he is feeling left out! Maybe try to get to know the parents of her friends and hang out with them so the kids can have time together. Idk, hope this helps to know atleast you aren't the only one!
