I have a dilema... I have an 18 months old son who is my first and last as I am not able to have anymore. Because of this I have literally thousands of pictures of him and have deleted some over time that you cant see his face or dont carry special memories. but now I am wondering what everyone else does with alll their pics. should I leave them all on USB's and my laptop or should I print them out or only some or print them and put them in books with captions.? any advice? and as a side note I have 6 step kids that come by and visit sometimes and they are in some. Whats the right thing to do with them all?

I have my pictures made into video slideshows. I can put the video on my computer or show it on TV. When my friends or family come over to visit, I use it as background entertainment. I use justgreatshows.com which is low cost and the quality is very good.

Since you don't have time to scrapbook as I myself have the same problem look online and see of there is someone a store or something that does professional scrapbooking print all the pics that you want out and they will do i all for you :) and if your worried about a fire or something make copies of all the photos on to an external hard drive and leave it at your moms house or a friends house :). Good luck !

I print out the really good ones and scrapbook them for my kids. I print out family type ones for our family album. I back up all my pictures on CD's and at the end of each year I make a powerpoint slide thingy of pictures with captions and music and what not. My daughter LOVES to watch her powerpoints of herself and talk about the things in the pictures!

We do all 3. We print out our favs for our albums. They're stored on our laptop and on our external hard drive (2 tb of memory) as a back up.

on Msn.com or msn.ca there is a area where you can store photo's Yes i knowi dont scrapbook much anymore myself. when i started his album i would do 2 or 3 pages while he was napping or in bed for the night.!! i belive they wont be in the public eyes there, only people you approve.i also have a Shutterfly.com account thats where i order my pictures but if you create a account you can upload as many pics as you want and they are there for life!

Keli, thanks. I have always loved scrapbooking but found that once I had a baby there was never time for it anymore so its all in big totes still. maybe once hes even a little older i will get to it again or send him to grandmas for a week. lol

I would upload my photo's somewhere online in case you ever had a house fire you can access these pictures again, secondly i started a scrapbook for my son a first year scrapbook, its a pricey hobby but it's so nice to keep.other than that i have many pictures i developed just sitting in a container. i might organise them according to months. then when my son is older, and settles down with a girlfriend i can pass all the pictures down to him then.
