I am 20 years old and just had my first child. He is two weeks old and I know it is far to soon for him to start eating cereal or having anything other than formula , but I was curious as to when he is able to start eating solids.

I'm sure it just depends in the baby when they will want to eat solids, but when is it healthy and ok for him to start eating solids?

Depending on your doc. between 4-6 months old is when they can start to eat solids. Some docs. today are recommending not starting solids until 6 months....so it is best to talk with your doc first.
