Hi Amanda :) each baby is different and a lot of boys tend to teeth before girls but you just never know :P Most babies start between 5 & 7 months but some even erlier. My nephew started to teeth at 4 months where my daughter was born with teeth showing! they receeded back into her gums by 5 days old and she didnt start teething til 5.5 months taking a while to get her first tooth :) Once your baby is crying for no appaent reason, or drooling excessibvly etc- they are most likely teething :) ive never heard of a baby teething before 4 months so i would say earliest 4 months but most commonly once they are given more solid food ie: baby cookies toast etc around 6 months where thei gums are rubbed on things more frequently and it makes it easier for the tetth to make their first appearance :) *hope this helps!*

Babies can start teething weeks and even months before their first tooth shows up! The most common start of teething is 3 months....My daughter got her first tooth at around 8-9months and started teething at 4 months.

Babies has different times of start teething. You know that my first son got his first tooth on his 15months and they say if its late teething it means it will broke longer years. On the other hand-my second baby girl now which is 5months old is start teething and I just observed her. Maybe you will just noticed and know that their first tooth will come. Its a mother instinct, right?

My cute boy started teething when he was 4 -5 months old but got his first teeth when he was 8 months old.
Just be careful becoz this give them lot if itching and to satisfy there itching they put everything in mouth and get stomach infection!

Mine started teething at 3 months. She had just started sleeping through the night then her teething started. Bye-bye good night sleep. Her first tooth didn't pop through until she was about 5 months maybe. Now she's a year and has a whole bunch of teeth coming in.

My oldest got her first tooth when she was 14 months, where as my son got his at 6 months. For a long time I thought Hailey was going to be the toothless wonder lol. She had been teething for a long, long time.

I didn't think my son would EVER get teeth! His first tooth didn't show up until he was 13 1/2 months! But, yeah I think average is around like 6 months or so?

My son started teething around 4 months but all babies are different. I know someone that their kid didn't start getting teeth until they were around a year old.

Just like everything else, it's different for all babies. My son started teething at 3 months and his first 2 teeth broke through at 4 months. I've come across quite a few cases where the baby started teething around the time the parent did when they were a baby....but like I said. There's no set time or age. Good luck with the teething when it starts too!! :)

It really depends on the baby. My son started teething at 2 and half months and my daughter is teething now and she is 4 months.

Around 6ms I think is a safe age to say they will cut their first tooth. That is when both my son and daughter did. I'm not sure when my daughter started teething... I actually didn't even know she cut her first tooth until she bit me in the chin! haha.
My son on the other hand I believe has been teething since about 2-3ms old!! That is when he really started drooling and such, he would get rosy cheeks here and there, crab off and on, etc.
I was born with teeth, but they went back into the gums shortly after.

Every baby is different. My son has three teeth come in all at the same time when he was two and a half months. He had almost all his teeth by the time he was 1.

Well, on this topic there are no rules! I think the average is around 6 months, but it varies so widely! My oldest teethed for months, but nothing came in until she was almost 11 months old. My youngest has teethed since she was about a month old, and now at 6 1/2 months, has her second tooth on it's way. Keep plenty of tylenol and cold hard teething rings on hand!

it really all depends on your baby some are born with teeth (and those need to be pulled) some dont get any till after their first bday but IMO the ave age is anywhere between 4 9mths

My son is almost 5 months old and has been teething since 3 months. He doesn't have any teeth yet, but he's still teething! Babies can teeth at any time, all babies are different, but it doesn't mean they will pop a tooth at the time they are "teething". They can teeth for months before a tooth actually pops through. My son still hasn't popped a tooth yet and he'll be 6 months next month.

They say that babies can start as early as 3 months old. My son started drooling a lot at 3 months old but didn't get his first tooth until he was six months old. Every baby is different. I know someone whose baby was 16 months old before she got her first tooth
