I'm a bit confused. My son is 8 months, snacking is essential and he enjoys it. I'm thinking of giving him yogurt. Is it too early??

There is no need to waste money on expensive baby yogurt. baby can start at 8 months. look for higher fat yogurt with no aspertame. My daughter gets full fat natural organic plain yogurt (7%fat) this has been the highest fat yogurt i could find, it is made by astro and comes in a family size container for $2.50

Here in Australia, you can get Yoplait baby yoghurt and there is another brand but I can't remember. As long as it says suitable for your babies age its fine. The ones I have given my bub have been 6 months and older

yes Kylie is right the hospital used to bring my daughter yogurts for her snacks when she was under 12 months and ask us to give her them for brekky. yogurt and cheese are good for them, they told me what each one is equivilent to so that i can give her less milk depending how much food she eats

I started to give my son yogurt @ 6 months, he loved it and had no problems. We started with the plain and just added either the rice cereal or the oatmeal to it then gradualy made our way to the fruit kind. Kid still loves yogurt & is now alittle over 2!

you can give your baby yogurt after 6 months although i waited until 8 months.. there are alot of choices out there... make sure it has 3% fat and look for the ones targeted to kids as they dont generally have aspartame in them

I was giving my daughter baby yogurt at that age. It is called YOBABY organic yogurt. It is specifically made for babies under a year old. I found it at my local grocery store in the milk area. There are different flavors and my daughter absolutely loved them.
