Well obviously everyone has heard different things, but usually by 1 year, but that doesn't apply to everyone. I read that there really isn't a truth about a dominate color there could just be someone on one side of your family that has blue eyes and it popped up. My neice is biracial there is no one on her dad's side that has blue eyes, but she has blue eyes and they aren't changing she is 7. I read most white babies are born with blue eyes but that most change by six months and almost all whose eyes are going to change change by 12 months. My son was born with brown eyes with a blue ring around it but after about six weeks the blue was gone.

My son is blonde with blue eyes and my doctor said for a baby to have blue eyes there just needs to be one person, from each the mom and dads side, that has blue eyes

My daughter is 17 months and her eyes are still blue. I have green/brown eyes and her daddy has green eyes. My dad claims he had blue eyes until he was 2 so its not unheard of for eyes not to change until late toddler hood.

well my yongest son has blond hair and bright blue eyes while i have hazel(green and brown) and dad has green. We both have dark hair also. My son is 24 months and I'm sure they would have changed by now. I kept thinking they would but they haven't. My sons paternal grandmother and maternal grandfather have blue eyes.

27 months? They are probably blue. My oldest's switched to amber sometime after she turned one. The close up pictures show she has blue eyes, and I can't find any more close up enough to indicate when the change happened. It was well after 12 months though. I have heard that blue is actually dominant- but I am not a geneticist and I heard it from my mom who isn't one either.
