I didn't track my periods it just took to much work. I used EPT ovulation predictures and got prego that first month.

get the Answer brand ovulation predictors!! get a couple of boxes and check yourself daily until it tells you you're ovulating, that's how i got preggo with my second daughter, on the first month of trying!!!!

Have your periods always been this way?? were you using contraceptives?? these are two key things to look at first. with my first two children, my periods came back right away and normal - with the last three i went for almost a year without a period (due to nursing) and now they are going back to normal again. Ive never used contraceptives, but my sister does, and when she got off of them her periods were a bit abnormal at first - now she is getting them regularly again -- to the best of my knowledge you can be fertile anywhere between the last couple of days of your period up to at least two weeks. So maybe look at those times to create the magic, lol -- good luck! (Maybe see the gyno is things dont seem right, in case you may be having uterine, or ovarian issues - or even hormone issues)

It depends on your cycle. My hubby and I were trying too. One site I found was pretty cool is mymontylycycles.com. Here you can track when your periods are, how long they last, and it even tells you when your most likely to be ovulating (so you can either try at that time, or know when to be more careful). You can set up to get emails reminding you a couple days before your period is supposed to start, and when you will be ovulating. Its pretty helpful. I've been using it since last September and it has been pretty accurate. It would be nice to find out if it works for anyone else :)
