When will dad feel the baby move?

I am pregnant with my second child. I will be 18 weeks on Monday and have just started to feel my baby move (this is about 2 and a half, 3 weeks later than my first started kicking). I cannot remember when the baby is big enough for dad to feel the movements on the outside of my belly! Can anyone give me a rough estimate of when that will be?

Thanks ladies! My first always stopped as soon as daddy put a hand on my belly, so hopefully this time round he will have a bit more luck from the outside!

I would think in a month or so, all babies are different though, my son moved earlier then my baby this time, and he always did big rolling movements not kicks, and she is always sticking her feet out and doing all sorts of silly things..

Congrats on your little one!

If daddy is lucky enough to catch a kick, it should happen around 20-22wks, feeling movement from the outside.

All of my kids were lil boogers and hardly let daddy feel them at all! They would always stop as soon as daddy came near.
