She is 4 mo. and I can't get her to sleep through the night. In fact there are some nights that we are up every couple hours. How much longer till her little body norms out?

I don't mean to discourage you but some kids are just built like that my 5 yr old daughter still wakes up through out the nite. She always has.

My daughter did the same for the first 6 weeks until i started to let her sleep on her tummy as suggested by my mother i only let her do this with a monitor that sounds an alarm after 20 seconds of no movement/breathing (not suggesting this just saying it's working for me)she is now 4 moths old i put her down to bed at 6pm after  bath and a bottle i don't rock her i put her in her bed with a dummy let her fall asleep herselft then i get her up asleep at 10pm dream feed her she sleeps through till 7am now. She sometimes wakes up at 5.30am but just for comfort of dummy which aparently is a great tool if your trying to cut out a feed in the middle of the night.

When she's ready to she will.

I know it's hard but it'll be over before you know it.. Each child is different my 1st slept through really early, and now my 8 month old still doesn't..

are you feeding her cereal or anything if you are how much that could be some of it and no baby really sleeps threw the night they just dont wake up and cry for food or cuz they cant fall asleep on their own but thats one of the things you need to make sure they know how to fall asleep on her own we used the ferber method and it worked great but make sure she has had enough food to keep her statisfied
