My daughter is 8 months old and I am still numb from my c-section. From my belly buton to my hip bones I am numb. I can pinch my skin and not feel anything. It is really getting annoying. IS THIS NORMAL?

It all depends...have you seen your doctor? As for me I've had 2 c-sections and after 3month recuperated meaning I was walking and all but where the incision was made it's numb ....just remember that they cut through your skin and nerves which they do tell you that you will be numb. But for you to experience that sensation like you ...I personally would look into it with a doctor.

I had a c-section 7 weeks ago and am numb too. I think it's normal because I had a breast reduction some years ago and am partially numb around the incision points. I don't think it's anything to be worried about.

Yes totally normal, my numbness didn't go unitl my son was 1yr old. I was freaked out too for a while. It's still not 100% for me either I still have slight feeling loss there but definetly not as bad as it was. So no need to worry

I've had 2 c-sections and numbness is completely normal because they cut through all the nerve endings. You may find that the feeling only comes back a little or not at all how everyone recovers in completely different. I had my second one nearly 6months ago and i am only just gaining feeling above the incision and just below the scar itself is numb completely.

Yes I saw my doctor at the six week check up and she said the numbness was normal. But I thought she meant, "Yes but it should go away soon" I didn't think it would go on like this so I guess I should go back and get things checked out. But Marilyn has your stomach gone back to normal? I can not get my potch to go away.
