Why deadbeat dads get to run from responsibility

My daughter was diagnosed with Smith~Magenis syndrome a year after her dad went to prison. While incarcerated for three more years he promised me that when he got out that he was going to be the best father he could be. He was released 4 months ago and still hasn't showed and proved anything! Gave him a call the other day to see if he could watch her for a few hours so I could get a little rest and he hung up in my face. I wish I could have given her a better father who would love her. Just wish she had what I never had growing A REAL DAD

Remember she has a GREAT mom and that is all that matters. He doesn't deserve to be a part of her life. He's not a dad, he's obviously not even a man!
