Hi, wow, I was about to post the same question. Lol. My daughter is just ocer 2 and we have hit the same snag. Its not unusual for us to fight to get her to sleep for and hour o two every night at bedtime. At one point I actually laid in bed beside her until she fell alseep. I dont know why they do it, but its not fun. You could try doing some really quite activites in the hour before bed/nap time in the hope to get her to slow down, or maybe a nice warm bath/shower just before bed. Im still trying to find something that works, so if i do i'll let you no! Good luck, and just remeber, it will get better (I have to tell myself that every night atm :P)

She is probably just going through a phase. My daughter was the same way. She was good about being put to bed and then after the age of two she changed. The thing is that she knows that she will be missing out on doing things if she takes a nap.

i have a 2.5 year old little boy who is doing the same thing we are trying to be consistant and i noticed as much as it stinks you have to put them down around the same time everydayas soon as we go off scheduel is when he acts up and if he fights we make him stay in his room for 3hours b/c when he does nap it is for 3 hours. the only big babttle that we cant seem to fight is he wakes up in the middle of the night too now so our battles during the day are getting easier but we still cant get rid of the night ones good luck if you find the secret let me know

It could be that she is teething, or growing out of the napping stage. Both of my childreen stopped napping around two. It was really rough, the best advice I could give is just follow your instinct, it's almost always right!!!! She could also be waking up from something called'night terrors" google it. But as all other things, this to shall pass;)
