She has always been an "intense" baby, but she has been napping very well until recently. Suddenly, she refuses to nap during the day. She wont sit in her swing or Bumbo or anything unless I sit beside her and talk to her. Even then sometimes she cries until I hold her. I hold her most of the time, but it is getting exhausting. How can I get her to nap and spend a few minutes by herself? Any why is she suddenly refusing to nap?

My daughter is the same way.(She's 6 and a half months). She rarely naps during the day and needs my attention pretty much 24/7. If i walk away for jusr a minute, she cries. It's exhausting but my friends and family says it's just s stage.

All babies go through stages. She may have seen something on tv or heard something that scared her. Or possibly just wants your attention. Be firm, but not to much. Sometimes you just have to let them cry for a little while. My youngest son has done that to some extent. Which I breast feed so thats probably another reason. Hope this helps :)
