My son had the same problem. We also did a snack about an hour before bed. Warm oatmeal seemed to work the best. Also, we do a very strict bedtime routine. We do bath right after dinner because that seemed to make him more hyper and could not fall asleep so he was then waking up throughout the night. We do a book in the rocker and then straight into bed for hugs and kisses. Try differnt routines to see what works best. Everyone told us to do a warm bath and as I said that did not help. The easier he can get to sleep, the better he sleeps through the night. We still do this and he just turned 3 :) Good Luck!

My daughter was almost a year before she FINALLY started sleeping through the night. We realized most times she was hungry, so we tried a small snack and extra cup of milk about 30 mins-1 hour before bedtime. We also started some cute bedtime rituals that apparently made her more comfy, like the glo-worm toy, tucking her in is now a "baby burrito" (if she does wake up through the night, I ask her if she wants a baby burrito, she usually says yes, cuddles up, and goes right back to sleep). Hopefully one of these will help some!
