My son is 4. It took him what seemed like forever, but you just have to put the underwear on him and don't give up. The one thing that worked for him was letting him pee outside. I don't know why that's such a thrill for boys but it worked.

My son was the same as Amy he was just being lazy he wore pull ups for a year and would just pea because he knew he could so I finally just put him in underwater. When we were at home i would just have him where nothing but basketball shorts and he would I guess feel when he had to go a lot better. Now he a little over 3 and doesn't wet the bed or anything.... It is a long process just takes teamwork between the daycare and working hard at home and anyone else that may watch the child

My little boy is 3 and it has been a long road, for about 12 mths, trying training pants and wet to learn nappies, much more and eventually i just had to put him in undies, he was just being lazy and knew that if he didn't have to go he just didn't, so eventually i just put him in undies and for about 5 days he wet his pants constantly but he soon worked out it is not nice and now goes without fail. I had to stay home for that time and only go out for short times, timed straight after he had done a wee, but it's not forever and i had a star chart and when he got 5 stars i took him to the play ground as a reward.

Hope this helps!
