I love Yo Gabba Gabba! My daughter and my nieces all loved the show! It's got bright colors, dancing and songs that teach manners and lessons about diversity and strangers and trying new things!! It's a little weird and trippy --for adults--but I think it's great for kids! Sit down and watch it one night by yourself and see what you think! I can't stand Spongebob and I think he's a terrible influence, but kids love him!! I let my daughter watch it and she tells me when he's being naughty--at least she knows!!! Just make sure you watch these shows with them and explain what's okay and what's not! Remember, you are the adult here and you make the rules!!!

I like Yo Gabba Gabba, my kids loved it. It teaches using repetition, so it could be very annoying to some people.

My daughter loves it. She knows the songs and will run around the house singing them. I don't see it being "bad" for them. I think there are some better shows out there for toddlers.. but who can say no to a lil baby singing "there's a party in my tummy"

It seems a little creepy to me personally.. But as much as people down Telletubbies, there was nothing wrong with that show either.Sorry but i don't think any child will get that an upside down triangle is a symbol for gay, as an adult i never heard of such a thing.

I think as adults we have to realize we have different taste than kids. Bright, colorful, musical... yep sounds like stuff they like.

As far as better shows for them- if you can get the channel babyfirst is excellent. They also have a website which has videos and games. I believe it is only offered to satellite users. (for directv you need a high def receiver also- which is annoying) Well worth it....

Truth is, as a parent you have the right to choose what they watch and they don't. Watch a few episodes and make your own opinion.

It's weird but my son loves it. I think it's more hypnosis for children. I let him watch maybe one or two shows a day but nothing more. He learns so much more and discusses what he learns if he watches something like "Diego" or "Barney". But every child is different. If your child is learning something from it, that's great.

My son is hooked on Baby Crackste... I mean "Einstein." He absolutely adores the show. I can't get him to watch Yo Gabba Gabba. I personally cannot stand the show, and only tried it a couple of times before I gave up on it.

Yo Gabba Gabba and Signing Time are the only 2 shows we watch, she loves the songs and Yo Gabba Gabba teaches alot of valuable lessons...I am sure not everyone loves it but our daughter does. :)

As far as the people yelling turn the TV off... 30 minutes of TV isn't going to ruin a child. Sometimes mommies need mommy time. It gives us a minute to make a cup of coffee, brush our hair and put on some deodorant without a cling-on on the leg. I interact with my child when she watches TV. Yes sometimes i walk off to do something real quick... Don't be so judgmental...

My three year old loves Yo Gabba Gabba, and secretly so do I. It is a great learning tool. It teaches sharing, manners and the like, but in a fun and innovative way. Most children's shows are the same. This one at least has interesting characters, celebrity guests and things that even parents can get into. I say go for it and let your baby/toddler watch.

My daughter adores it, and I'm kind of a fan as well. It's *really* goofy and campy though, and that sort of thing can tend to get annoying after a while to adults. But my daughter's never gotten tired of it.

It doesn't do much with academics, however. Most of the material on the show deals with emotional and social development - learning manners, how to make new friends, how to treat others with respect, how to be patient, and there's even episodes on personal hygiene and environmental awareness. These are all things that I think make YGG worth the exhausting enthusiasm the characters have all the time - about everything.

The other thing that makes the strange costumes worthwhile is the episode about diversity - it teaches about being friends with people who look different than you, and that just because people are different doesn't mean they can't be friends. I think this is an extremely valuable lesson, especially when kids are being confronted with racism and intolerance at younger and younger ages.

My son never cared for it much - he LOVED Backyardigans though. My cousin's son, who is 3 months older than my son, adored Yo Gabba Gabba.
My son also loved Baby Einstein - I can not count how many times I would not have had a shower if it weren't for Baby Einstein. lol

Turn it off! Along with all other TV! Engage them with people and not a flickering box!

I personally think the show is weird...But my 3yr old daughter has fallen in love with it. I do love the fact that she is not idolizing a person for being attractive or having a great singing voice...She loves monsters (and a robot). I also love the fact that she has her very own soundtrack to her life. She has a song for everything from trying new things, to brushing her teeth, to how to interact with her peers.

My son is 13 months and he loves it. I emphasize certain episodes more, like the one where they sing a song about not biting your friends ("Don't, don't, don't bite your friends!") because he is in the biting stage right now. :/ Overall, though, I think it's a decent show.

Yo Gabba Gabba is one that I am thankful my son never watched. There are some that I don't agree with like Teletubbies, Spongebob and Barney actually. I don't agree with some of the things Barney says so we don't watch it in my house.

It honestly creeps me out. I don't let my kids watch it. I agree with Jessie that it is a lot like Telletubbies.

I do not let my daughter watch it. There is just something about it that bothers me, kind of like Telletubbies. My daughter loves Kipper, Sesame Street, and and Timmy Time. They teach lessons without strange characters bobbing around.

My son never really took to it, but my daughter LOVES it!!! She's a music and dance fanatic though. It is a very silly show, but it's aimed at kids not adults. There's lots of silly songs, bright colors, and crazy things going on. It's a fun show for the kids to watch now and again.

All three of mine have loved it and I like it, too. It has great songs, dances and lessons and I think it teaches children about diversity. There are many shows, but this one has definitely captured and will hold my kids attention.

I positively despise Yo Gabba Gabba.

It is weird and annoying and really not that great for kids. What I mean is that Yo Gabba Gabba has what all other cartoons/kids shows have, good stories, interesting characters, teaching children, so it isnt that unique.

I just find the show really stupid.

Id watch Sesame street over Yo Gabba Gabba any day.
