One day, I was frustrated and oh so tired and just wanted to curl up in a ball and sleep the whole day away when I picked up my little girl and she just smiled at me for the first time. It just wiped away everything like I was never tired or frustrated.

I have a hard time choosing...I have two little girls. My oldest daughter is Autistic, and the day to day can be rough sometimes. Autistic kids don't kiss/love on people that much, so when she comes up to me out of the blue and kisses me, it melts my heart! My youngest daughter says DaDa all the time, so when she actually says MaMa, and reaches for me, it is so awesome! The other day my oldest daughter was standing up, and my youngest daughter pulled up to stand using her as a support, she stood there and hugged her head so sweetly, then kissed her. Priceless!!!! Everyday is a new Melting Moment!

Mine has to be when my older kids (5 and 7 years old) ask to cuddle. We have quiet time right before bed and they will clamour over and both will ask at the same time. My son will wrap my arm around him like a blanket and my daughter will start playing with my hair (you can tell she's tired when she plays with either your hair or hers!)

When he was born, he wasn't even out all the way and he started crying, happiest day of my life (my first pregnancy didn't work out as well as it should have) now, when he cries he calls out for me (almost 3 months old, impressive isn't it?)

When they kiss you and tell you that you're beautiful and they love you... My eldest son is 4 and does this all the time!!

Only being a mom for one month, I haven't had much chance to experience a melting heart (other than the every day heart melting...), but I would say the first time my daughter looked for her daddy after he kissed the top of her head to say bye in the morning....that was pretty priceless.

Bedtime routine, His father takes him to bed after giving me kisses.
And he yells down the hall way "night night mummy" and I say "Night Night Zachy" and then he Yells as loud as he can " LOVE YOU!"

Off the top of my head I'm gonna go with the first time each of mine smiled, said I love you that kinda stuff. I think one of the best moments also was when my 3 yr old was holding my newborn (with assistance) feeding him his baba... that was an awesome moment :)

The best part of everyday for me is waking up with him in the morning. When my hubby leaves for work he puts our lttle guy in bed with me to snuggle. He is always so happy and smiley. He makes waking up worth it!

I have only been a mommy now for 4 months but I would have to say that he laughs and smiles at me now and he is starting to reach for me cause he knows who his mama is. Everything about being a new mommy makes my heart melt. I never knew I had so much love in my heart to give to someone until I became a mommy. I just cant wait till he can look at me and say "mommy, I love you"

Wow, I have to pick just one thing? When she sang me her lullaby when I was sick. It's the same one I sing every night to her and when I wasn't feeling well she sang it to me and stroked my hair. She's such a sweet little girl. :}

My daughter always makes me feels so good when she gets excited after I arrive home from my occasional errands. However, the most recent time was yesterday. Her father and I just redecorated her room...she is 18 months old....When we showed her the room finished yesterday, she ran up to me and her dad and hugged and kissed our leg and said "thanks". It was so SWEET I teared up a little. We make a conscience effort to teach our daughter manners and it was cute to see that she understood the concept of the word "thanks" and was eager to use it. I'm a typical mom though because I think everything she does is cute. :)

well besides the obvious (the first time seeing him after delivery) i would have to say his smiles. they're real now, not just because he has gas, and every time he does it it makes me smile too. he's also trying to laugh now too though he doesn't have the hang of it yet (he just makes the spit in his mouth move around)
