Time bottles are left out

Hi there! When my son was born I really wanted to just breast feed but I just found it to be too hard. Now I am pumping and using formula. I wanted to hear from other Mom on here if they follow the one hour rule. On the formula it says that once baby starts eating you can only use the formula for one hour and then you have to throw it away. That just does not sound right to me. Any thoughts? Thank you!!

yep - 1 hour after baby has touched the bottle, that milk and that bottle have to go.

untouched breast milk at room temp lasts 5-6 hours. formula, unfortunately for those of us who're stuck with it, lasts 1-1.5 hrs .
