I have had 3 C/S and am thinking about going for #4. Has anyone had a positive or negative experience with more than 3 C/S. Thanks!!

I have had 4 great c/s (in under 5 years!) without any complications or problems. I think it depends a lot on your doctor and your recovery. My Obs was fantastic and i bounced back each time - out of bed in under 24 hrs, up and about, driving after 2 weeks etc... As long as I was careful about bending etc... I happily picked up the other kids and all of that. Go for it if you have the confidence in your doctor and their advice and don't believe all the scaremongering. My Obs recommended no more than 4, but that being said he also had a patient who had had 8!

I have had 4 c-sections. My dr that delivered my last was FABULOUS!! I have also had multiple miscarriages. . . He told me that I could have 1 more after my 4th, but would then recommend a tubal .. but I told him I couldn't have "5" . .. an odd number of children! LOL so i had a tubal after my 4th . .. The best is to have a dr you trust, that understands your situation & talk with them about what you want & see what they say. Everyone's situation is different.

talk to your dr to make sure they will do one. i know that after 4 c/s the medical advice is to not have anymore after that. it is so much scar tissue and cause you health concerns later on in life. you do want to be around to see your kids all grow up and not be in pain and have problems later on when you get in life. i have had 3 c/s but i also had 2 other surgies prior to having kids. take care of your body for your kids.
