New to group

Hi everyone. I am new to this group and just wanted to take the time to introduce myself. I have a nine year old daughter. My husband is an independant insurance adjuster who travels a lot. He is gone sometimes 2 weeks and then home for a couple of days. He has been traveling for the past 3 years. Although, I am grateful that he is such a hardworker and a great provider I am also tired. I just wonder when we will ever be a real family again. Sometimes I feel so isolated and alone that I want to scream. I do not work and I enjoy being home, but it is isolating. I am glad to see that there are other people that are in the same boat as me.

I'm new to this group as well. I have a 2.5 year old and one about to turn 5. My husband is a Consulting Engineer and has to travel a few times a month. Lately it seems it is every week. We have been planning a major remodel the past 3 years for our home and have had many disappointments. Everything has fallen into place and we have 1 week to completely move out of our home and do as much demo work as possible to save money. And it just so happens my husband has a huge deadline for tomorrow and and had to leave for an overnight trip today. He has been working long hours to complete the project and packing the house has fallen solely on me. And all the while the kids want to know if Daddy is coming home for dinner tonight, where's daddy, I want my daddy....... When my husband does return he will be focused on Demolition and I hope I have everything in boxes! Screaming at times does sound good! Deena
