My husband is a Sherriff Dept. He works nights one month, then days the next month. He works 12 hour shifts and when he's home he is usually tierd, sleeping, or hunting. But is also a great family man. We often watch movies together. We go to church, which has been a great foundation for our marriage. Without God, we would never make it!

My husband is a Fire Lt./Paramedic with our local county fire department. He has been a firefighter for 10 years now and is a darn good one! I am so very proud of him! He works 24 on/48 off, and it's great having so much time together! We have a 6 year old son who started Kindergarten this year, and we all love spending as much time together as possible. My husband is also an avid hunter and fisherman, and is actually away hunting right now! I could not ask for a better husband than the one I have! :)

My husband is a psych nurse in a state prison.... actually we both are.... He works in the evenings and I work days... what time we have together is awesome and the kids benefit from us working opposite shifts.

My husband is a dairy farmer, he works every day. He goes to the barn at 6 am and is usally done his chores around 9 am. The nice thing about dairy farming is that in the winter time all he has to do is work in the barn with the cows, but in the summer there are days when he goes to the barn at 6am and i don't see him again until 2am the next morning because there is so much work to be done in the feilds!! We just had a baby girl and luckily it is his slow time around the farm!!! He also gets every other sunday night off. His father and himself run the farm together so they alternate sunday nights off other than that he works everyday!!! It's also great that it's a family farm so we all get to be a part of it together!!

My husband works full time at EMS and is going to school to be a pramedic and he vol. at the local fire dept. He also worked for a sherriff dept but left there b/c he was over working him self. My husband works 12hrs (unless they have late calls) and works 2weeks days 2 weeks nights. Since working and being in school my husband has one day a month off so that dont leave for much family time with our son, but I know he is working his tail off right now so I am able to stay home full time with our son.

My husband just started working at CH2MHill, which is contracted by the Department of Energy to work at the Hanford site to clean it up. He works from 7am to 4:30pm and gets every other Friday off, which is really weird cause we are still getting used to all this free time! He's loving it so far but he is still in training so we will see how well actually working out at "the site" is. In our free time we spend a lot of time with extended family and playing with our 2 year old.

My husband works offshore: 2 weeks gone 2 weeks home. It gets very difficult and trying at times, but we are able to talk and see each other every night through Yahoo Messenger. When he's home, all of his attention is on our son and me! We always make sure that we have at least one night while he's home just for us two. He is definitely my best friend and world's most wonderful husband and father!

My hubby works at 3M. i am sure you have all heard of 3M. they make everything there. With this whole economy crisis thing they have laid so many employees off. Luckily he is far enough up the line that they just shuffle him from station to station about every 6 months. He doesnt like change, but he is happy to have a job. He worls rotating shifts. so one week he is graveyard, then the next week he is afternoons and the next week he is mornings.... I like that he is always near a computer though, because then we can write each other love emails all day...

My husband is currently unemployed. He lost his job as a manual machinist back in March; in September he began schooling to receive his Microsoft Certifications. He's already received 1 of 4. We are praying viciously that he gets the job that he applied to back in April; Department of Corrections. We are hoping that he hears something definitive after his final interview on Thursday. Please be in prayer for us.

My husband works @ a paper mill (P&G) & he works swing shift, 12 hours & switches between days & nights during the week. My hubby also gets very tired w/ this kind of shift work. My husband loves to hunt (I recently started to join him & took my hunter safety course w/ my 13 year old last fall) he also loves to fish (ice fishing especially). We have a cottage that we as a family spend time @ as much as we can & that's were we hunt, take the 4-wheelers out ect. We also love to watch movies too!
