I thought this would be fun to see where everyone met their hubbys. How long you have been together and how long you have been married.....

My husband and I met on a sprint phone chat room. We knew each other for a year before I moved across the country to be with him. (i lived in az and he lived in il) We lived together for a year then before we go married. I was 20 then. We have been married now for 6 years and have 3 beautiful chidren together, ages 5, 4, and 2.

All this love stories are awesome! My husband and I met in middle school, but we never liked each other at that time! He thought I was annoying because I was like the class clown and I didn't like him because he was the nerd and I would only talk to him when I needed the answers haha! Later on after we graduated from high school (we graduated from different high schools) he started talking to me on Facebook and one day he asked me if I wanted to go out on a date and I said yes :) we kept on talking for about 2months, then he asked me out! 3 months later he proposed to me and I said yes!!!!!! 3 months later we got married! I'm 7 months pregnant now and I loooooooooveeeee the married life! I love my husband so much! We are both 21years old and we have the same birthday! How awesome is that!!! What else could I ask for! God put me in good hands! :) ♥

We met in 8th grade. He was a new kid and I found him annoying. He found me cute. He asked me out in Sophomore year but I rejected. I told him that "I'll never even like you." Despite this, he asked me out again. I told him yes this time because he had the courage to ask again. I admire people with such courage. He turned out to be an amazing person, doing things for me that others would never do. On our wedding day, he whispered in my ear, "'I'll never even like you' huh? Never is a strong word." We have been married for 5 years and have 2 children: Trevor, 3 and Olivia HelenGrace, 1.

We met thru a friend of mine from a computer class that I was taking at local jr college. From the first date, I knew that I could marry him although there was a faith difference and I am the older of the two of us. We dated 4 years before marrying. We have a 14 yo son, He was born when I was 46 yo. Do the math, I am 60-plus. He keeps us young but sometimes too much on the go. Would have loved to had at least one more child but we are fortunate that he is normal and a tad bit above normal having tested into our gifted program and at the top of most of his classes.

We met via my work. He had a head hunter call him (a term used in his industry) and offer him a job he couldn't refuse, full time, no contracts. (he's a senior network enginner for the past 26 yrs) his new job was located in my town and they set him up at a motel for a bit until he could find a nice apt. in the area and the motel he picked I happened to work as a housekeeper. I was his housekeeper, lol. I soon left my husband, filed for divorce the day after leaving him (ex) filed shared custody, and were married as soon as the div. papers were filed. ...happily every after. Well that's me, thats our story! :D

I met my husband Adrian while down on my externship in North Carolina 2011...I was studying pastry at Le Cordon Bleu but I got accepted to work for a well known Golf Resort. Prior to moving down to NC for a 3 month externship, I recently ended a 4 year relationship with my boyfriend. Like the saying goes..when you least expect love it happens. And that is exactly what happened.

All through my externship I was really attracted to Adrian...we would make googly eyes at eachother...the occasional brief conversations and the "hellos" when passing. Adrian worked in culinary and I was pastry so we hardly ever worked together. I remember he came into the bakeshop and asked for a cup of sugar....I was so nervous I could hardly look at him. One day he gives me his phone number....I was very apprehensive because my extership was almost over within a month...and I definitely was not looking for a relationship. I held onto his number for days...but one night I decided to text him. We started talking...we talked all the time. My last night at NC..he came over to the condo where I was living with a roommate..and we hung out together for a couple of hours. We kissed once, it was very innocent. I left the next not knowing if I would ever see him again because I was moving back to Pittsburgh.

For a year and a half we had a very long distance relationship...I would fly down to NC...he would come to Pittsburgh. We talked on the phone for hours and hours every night. When we would visit each other we never knew when we would see each other again...sometimes it was 6 months other times it was 3 months. Then we decided to move in together. That was hard, because I decided to move back down to NC again. It was probably one of the hardest decisions I had to make because my mom and I are really close and I knew it was going to be hard for her to let me go. But I went...and don't you know it 6 months later we both return to Pittsburgh...because Adrian got a better job offer. I was so happy to be returning back home..I missed my family and friends so much.

Adrian proposed to be on November 21st 2013. I was never so excited before in my life...my mom says we celebrated out engagement to much because 9 months later our daughter was born. It definitely have been a roller coaster ride....but definitely worth it.

Thank You for reading my very lengthy story! But I hope you enjoyed it!

My husband I worked at the same place, in different departments, for years. We were friends for years and married to other ppl. Our spouses even knew each other as it is a small company and many of us spent time together outside of work.
My husband and I attended a going away party for a friend/co-worker and did not know, when we got there, that we each had split up with our spouses. We had heard rumors, but had not confirmed it. It was confirmed when later that evening, our first kiss happened. A long time friendship turned into a whirlwind romance. We spent every moment together, that we could. It took him a week to propose. Marrying him is the best decision I ever made!! We are so much alike that it is a bit scary at times. It's always fun and funny. On the rare occasion we disagree, it's FIREWORKS (redheads both of us, lol). Fortunately, those fireworks burn out quickly, tho admittedly, it's usually because he calms down first and encourages me to.
He's fantastic and I can't believe it took us so long to get together. We are having the time of our lives now tho!!
We don't have children yet. We will take on our first 2 foster children this week. 2 little girls, 3&7. We are hoping to find the perfect children, for us, to adopt.

I met my husband two years ago at school. We was 16, never spoke face to face only through twitter. But we started talking just after finishing school because we're going our separate ways to univeristy. So he asked my parents for the permission to marry me (as we are both muslims). We'll start uni in September so we literally only have 2 months together before I live for uni :( (we are 18 btw )

Officially we met through our co-workers. I had just turned 18 and had become friends with a girl I met at work. She would always ask me to hang out with her and her boyfriend. I declined so many times because I didn't want to be that third wheel. The one time I did decide to hang out with them was the time that my co-workers boyfriend kept bringing up that he has a co-worker/friend that he would like to hook me up with. I wasn't too thrilled and it took a little more convincing on my part that I would agree to meet my co-workers boyfriend's co-worker! I am so glad I did because it was seriously love at first sight and he would tell you the same! We found out from just talking how much similarities and coincidences we had! Here I was thinking he was some stranger. Found out that we went to the same high school (hes a few years older than me which explains why we didn't remember each other) and we lived less than 10 minutes from each other! Months later into our dating, we were at a family gathering and I noticed my step cousin there and was shocked! We ended up finding out that my step cousin is his blood cousin and we actually were both in his wedding a few years prior but don't remember each other at all. Needless to say, it's a very small world we live in. Basically, the rest is history. We have been overwhelmingly happy with each other ever since. It's crazy to think how someone can be hiding in plain sight for so long and it just takes something small for you to meet. I think it's funny how many times we actually crossed paths without knowing!

I met my husband in highschool. I'm born and raised in a small town (1000ppl) and he moved here at 15 (I'm a year older than him). We started hanging out and it took awhile for us to tell ppl we were seeing eachother, my guy friends are very protective and it took a long time for them to accept my husband. Now they are all friends and pretty inseperable! We've been dating for 6 years now, married for 1, and we are expecting our first in January. Highschool sweethearts don't always last, but we were one of the few. Communication and trust are the most important things to making a relationship last I think. We've always supported each other, after highschool I left for the city to go to College, and he came with me. We lived together and he finished highschool in the city and worked parttime. I went to college and worked parttime. Then he went to college and I worked full time. Our parents didn't have money so we supported ourselves, got eachother through College and then moved back to my hometown after where we currently live in our own place. At the age of 19 I was told I may not be able to have children and as I got older my chances got slimmer, so when we got engaged that same year we decided children were so important to us and we would start trying after we got married. We were married at ages 20/21 and waited a year so our careers were more established. Now 21/22 and 2 months of trying I am 21 weeks pregnant and we are having a girl. We couldn't be more excited and happy (relieved as well). Circumstances sometimes change your plans in life, like for us starting a family sooner then we first planned. Some people think we are too young, but my husband is my bestfriend, and I know we could make it through anything. We've already been through many obstacles and hard times in life, but we have eachother and it only makes us stronger as a couple :)

I met my husband about 9 years ago. We worked together on Table Mountain, Cape town in the curio shop. We became friends and we both were in relationships, but things turned sour on both our sides and we reached for each other. It was a total whirlwind romance as his current girlfriend worked with us! We eventually got through it after some tough times from colleagues. But we had so much love for each other and got married a year later! Six years later and we have a 3 year old princess and our prince is on his way in 10 weeks! My husband is my best friend and life partner! I cannot ask for a better husband :)

When I was a junior in hs I saw this cute senior guy walking down the hall who I had noticed talking to my friend who's locker was next to mine before. I leaned over and asked my friend his name and promptly shouted across a very crowed hallway "will you go to prom with me?" at him. To which he replied "No!" Strange how he suddenly started hanging out by my friend's locker more and more. Our first date was 10.5 years ago, we went to two proms together, dated long distance when he went to college for two years until I moved to be closer to him, we had a baby girl a few years after that, got married four years ago, had a baby boy and the rest is just being happy with my best friend and loves of my life.

He made his first move on me the NIGHT OF FINALS.
We ran into each other at a mutual friends party over break.
He invited me over after, "just to hang out"
Three days later I left. And the rest is history!
I was 3 points away from an A, he was tempted to give it to me, but gave me the B+ I deserved.

I met my husband at a leadership school in the Army (BNCOC) He says he noticed/respected me because I had the NERVE to tell him he was wrong about military discipline & punishment. About 3 months later, we and 10 other people from our unit went to a Civil Affairs Operations course, and the rest is history. We have been married for 18 1/2 years and have successfully combined our families.
Both of our girls are married to amazing, Christian men. Our oldest daughter is expecting her first baby in June. My oldest son is in Afghanistan. Right before he left, he met a lovely young lady (Lenora) from Illinois, who is studying to be a doctor. We can't wait for him to come home, and to meet Lenora. Our youngest son, (ours together) is 14 and is now taller than I am!
I think being friends first is what keeps couples close. Allowing ourselves to really get to know each other well before marrying.

I met my husband at a business convention. I worked for his company's competitor at the time (but not for long!). The first time I saw him he was shaking hands with very prominent, powerful men but was clearly the Alpha in the pack. I was mesmerized by all 6'4" of him. He noticed me noticing him and gradually pursued me. We were married 2 years later and have been happily so ever since.

We talked Long distance for 2 months, we decided we would try a long distance relationship. lol only way. He got hurt while over there and got sent back to his base, in Alaska. He was going to visit me before the injury since he is from SC. I decided to move to Alaska. So i packed up my house put it in storage and hopped my son and i on a plane. I meet my husband in a chat room thru Excite, I was giving him pointers on how to talk to women, and the rest is history......my soul mate was 1000 miles away when I found him :)

I met my husband on the job in 2005. When I started working for the YMCA i was determine to focus on my life and nothing else. I wanted a fresh start and dating wasnt in it. Well I knew he was going to start there because the director told us in a meeting but i didnt think anything of it. To make a long story short, when i saw him I said Wow. It was something about him that just jumped out. After several lunch dates we started dating and on February 15, 2008 we got married.
