baby bump

Ok I am 15 weeks pregnant. This may be a silly question to ask. I only weighed 93 pounds when I found out I was pregnant. I now weigh 108. I know baby is right above pelvic bone so why is my upper abdomen (belly or stomach) so big? I know the baby can't be that big at only 15 weeks, can it? So why am I round in the upper abdomen if baby is in lower abdomen? Like I said baby is right above pelvic bone. atleast that what dr. says. And all of me is big as far as hard and rounded.

The baby itself is not very big however you have lots of amniotic fluid etc. babies move A LOT so while te baby might have been in the lower abdomen at the Dr appt it may have moved. If you have a concern about your size or plaement of your bump you should ALWAYS ask your Dr since only he/she can tell you if it is normal. Unless he/she has told you you are measuring big or expressed concern I wouldn't sweat it. I am a tiny mama myself 118 to start and I always show more quickly than all my friends because I have no place to hide it. :) Plus every mama carries differently and each baby can carry differently. I carried my boys high and my girl low. Long and short if Dr isnt worried I wouldn't be either. (You also get bigger faster with subsequent pregnancies)

If this is your second child you would tend to get bigger sooner. What did your doc say about the upper part of your tummy growing.

I noticed I seem to feel the baby higher then they say it is. Weird.
