DID ANYONE BEGIN TO SHOW ALMOST RIGHT AWAY THIS TIME AROUND?

Im really glad that i joined this one, cuz i seriously thought that it was "not the norm" to be 3 months preg, and look at least 6....But now reading sum of the other posts made by other moms, I now know that it is more common to look bigger the 2nd time around..Wit my son I looked 5 months and I was close to 9...Im a lil more at ease now...Thanks for asking this question Tara!!!

i started showing around 5-6 months with my son and he was 13 months when i found out i was pregnant again and i'm currently 3 months pregnant with my second and i'm still not showing. my regular pants are getting snug around the middle but i'm not nearly big enough to wear maternity pants yet. i can't wait to show i love pregnant bellies

yea same here, with my first pregnancy i didnt start showing til i was 7 months although she only weighed 4lb, but this time, im 6 weeks preg and my belly is getting big already

with my daughter i was about 4mnths b4 i started to show but this time round i am 9weeks and starting to show already

wow, That's lucky! I wish i was showing. I'm 14 weeks pregnant and still nothing enough to show through my normal clothes :( My first pregnancy I showed at about 4.5-5 months, and expected to pop out early this time, but to my disappointment, nothing yet!

I always heard from people that you would get bigger the 2nd time around. I didnt believe it because I have a small frame but boy was I wrong! I also began showing in the early single digits weeks (6,7,8 weeks etc). I think thats why I found out so early (3 weeks). Your stomach will remain the same size though, that is until the last months of course. My belly has remained the same size for like the passed 8 weeks. the baby is jus filling it in now. haha..

Yeah, with this pregnancy I started showing around 2 or 3 months. I couldn't believe how quickly my clothes got tight. I know it sounds cliche, but your body knows what to do this time. Your stomach muscles were so stretched out with the 1st pregnancy, that your stomach muscles can't hold up as long this time around. I'll be delivering my 2nd son next month, and I'll tell you right now, this baby feels so much heavier and lower than the first. Again, this is because of your stomach muscles being so stretched out the first time around. Good luck and enjoy this time!

Thank you everyone for your in put on this topic.....This is my 3rd baby, my first and second are 12 years apart so my body had time to repair and go back to a normal state. This time around I got pregnante just 10 months after my second baby and YES I too began showing much earlier....this baby is a girl IDK if this contributes to showing earlier or not, but it is nice to know that others are experiencing the same thing.

I showed early with my first (around 3-4 months) He's now just turned 2 and I'm pregnant again. I had to tell most people I was pregnant before I even hit 12 weeks because if you saw me I was obviously pregnant! Now almost 15 weeks and am the same size as a friend who is 26 weeks (and it's her second one too!)

I'm 13 weeks and I've been "showing" since I was like 10 weeks. If I wear maternity clothes or something that you can see my stomach in I look about 5 months pregnant but if I wear something baggy you can't even tell I'm pregnant. Adrienne said, its nice actually looking pregnant bc I didnt show till I was 8 months along with my son and everyone kept saying I didn't look pregnant the whole time. My son was 13 months old when I found out I was pregnant again. I asked the nurse yesterday at my ob appt if its normal to show this early and like everyone has been saying, the nurse said its because my uterous had already been stretched recently and this time the baby has more room so our bodies need to accomidate that.

I am on # 4 and with every pregnancy after my first I started to show within a month or two of conceiving. But with my first I didn't show till around 7 mo.s either.

I started showing this time around 3 months and with my first pregnancy I was showing at 7 months.

I didn't necessarily 'show' right away, but by 10 weeks I had outgrown my pants and LOST 10lbs. Strangest thing. I think your right, our bodies were stretched such a short time ago that it just goes back a lot easier. (my dd was 11 mos when I found out I was preg again)

It's totally normal. I showed really early (around 8 weeks) with both my pregnancies. But it's even more common with a second pregnancy because things have already been stretched out.

Lol, i am on my second baby and my son was 16 months when i caught... I to look about 6 months pregnant, and i have lost 10lb, i eat normally and have no sickness so this is a new one to me as i gained so much weight with my son... Hey maybe this time its a girl lol, xxx

Congratulations on your second pregnancy! With my first child, I didn't have to wear maternity clothing until I was 6 months pregnant. This time I started wearing maternity clothes by 3 months and was definitely showing before then. I am now 6 months pregnant and HUGE. I have been told it is because your body has been pregnant before and "knows what to do this time". It is kind of nice to look pregnant for longer as with my first pregnancy people always commented that I didn't even look pregnant.
