Double Stroller

What are you plans for a stroller to hold 2? side by side? tandem? buggy board? which one do you like? which ones do you hate? I'm starting my quest. My son will be 2 and a half when the baby is born.

After much searching, test drives around stores and asking random mom's everywhere we went, we purchased the Graco Quattro Tour Duo. My second is due in 3 days so we will see if it was the best purchase. It fit what I wanted the most: seat for the big boy in front and space for the car seat in back (hate to move a sleeping baby from the car seat!) It's a little heavy, but hey, I will be trying to lose the baby weight so the work out is good, right?

We ended up with a graco double stroller it was a present from the grandma, i think its a pretty nice stroller, and u jus hook the carseat to the back seat and the toddler sits in the frount. Yes it is big but u gotta think ur acct for two now. I will tell more when we act use this stroller.

We have the Combi Twin Sport. It's the only side by side I could find that takes an infant seat. My daughter is 27 months & I'd due any day now, so we haven't used it yet. But I talked to lots of moms & got feedback that a side by side is the best. We have the Combi single stroller & we really like it, so I'm sure we'll like this too. Its not to heavy & folds up really compactly.

The stroller I have found I am in LOVE with. It is the Graco Quattro Tour Duo. It holds up to 50lbs in the front and 40lbs in the back seat. Also before you have a child old enough to sit in the back seat you can put any Graco Snugride carseat on the back seat. I love this stroller, it has a one click fold down and isn't as big as you would think. The only con I would say about the stroller is that it is heavy, but that is to be expected with any double...

I hate the tandem, i bought one the other day and it is useless, it actually tip... i am not happy i wrote to the company and complained, what if it had done that on the road, they are dangerous and no one should buy them.

I have a friend that has a Sit & Stand stroller and she loves it. I have been looking into them (currently I have a Graco double stroller) for my new baby's arrival. The plus & double models have 2 seats, the car seat fits in front & it is compatible with almost any brand car seat. The back seat can be used as a seat for your 2.5 year old or removed so he/she can stand while you push. It is made by Baby Trend. I'm going to get the double model because there is more foot room for the back passenger. You can see them on, or just type in Sit & Stand

Ugh. I have one of the ones with a seat in the front and the back and I HATE it! It is very heavy and hard to steer. I have never tried any of the other ones but I know that the one I have takes a lot of the fun out of walking my boys. I don't know what I'm gonna do when #3 gets here. My oldest will be 2 1/2 and my youngest will be 1 yr 3 months... Maybe I will just do the sling thing.

im in the same situation as you at the moment. i dont want a huge pram i saw a normal pram the otherday that you can attach a toddler seat to the front and i think i am going to buy one of those.. im just going to look around until i find the one i want.
