Grocery shopping plan of attack.

We keep track of prices of the things we buy most frequently and we also don't shop all in one place. Spending a few extra dollars on gas for the car is worth it if it helps you save $30 to $50 in groceries.

I think it depends on where you shop...I am noticing more and more now that I have started shopping at other stores the huge price difference on certain foods. All I ever knew was giant eagle here started checking out walmart prices and couldnt believe my eyes! A package of cheese hot dogs at my old place to shop was 5 something and at walmart they are 2.50!! I still shop at the other place for certain foods but save way more on the littler things. You just have to know prices...I too had a grocery shopping weakness thinking i'll just get a few things and leave spending 100 and getting home trying to figure out what the heck i just spent 100$ on hope this helps!

I have been trying like heck to save money on groceries, but it is my biggest weakness. I end up going in for 2 things and spending $100 weekly. Do you really save any money?
