just wanted to share! this is my second go at ivf! i have a beautiful 2yo son from the first! first time around i had a normal ivf which resulted in five embies, two were inplanted, three frozen, the fresh ones didnt take and i had a fet where only one embie survived the thaw and hence my son was born! this is my second attempt, and we are doing the icsi. i had twelve nice follicles, and on retrieval day we found that seven of those were empty, so i had only five eggs harvested, and one turned out to be a no goer. so out of four good quality eggs i ended up with three embies, we decided to go for two and they were implanted on the 21 april, being two very high quality 4-6 cell embies. we had one put into the deep freeze! i am getting so anxious about the outcome, i really really want to go and pee on a stick! is it too early yet? should i just wait? any other similar ladies out there? please wish me luck!! as i will to you!! sending out sticky stick baby vibes to you all! xoxoxo

Bobby-Jo, my thoughts are with you. I know how painful the whole process can be. You have such a positive outlook, which is extremely important in a process like this.... A close friend of mine just went through IVF and nothing stuck.... then for several weeks she wasn't feeling well. She just discovered that she's pregnant (not from IVF but afterwards). "Never say never!" Miracles happen every day.... Please keep us updated.... and go for it!!!!

thank you ladies for your kind wishes, unfortunately it was not to be this time, we will go for our frostie asap, hopefully fingers crossed for that one! i am feeling disappointed and a bit like all hope is lost, however i know i have done all i can and i have no regrets, it just was not meant to be... My son Earl was the only surviving frostie from our first ivf cycle, so you never know.. the doc said we had a good chance of this last little embie surviving the thaw, so i am just praying that is the case, my hubby and i are still deciding if we want to go through the whole hog again, its just so draining not only emotionally but financially as well, i say never say never, i would like to keep trying for a few more years, so we will see how we go, i would love dearly for my son to have a sibling, its so heartbreaking, but having my son really put things into perspective for me, there are too many ladies out therre who would so dearly love to hold their own child, and it makes me angry that some of those who come across pregnancy quite easily make it look so easy, anyway, enough of my drivel, im going to put my head up, bum down and get on with it! once again thank you for your support, it was nice to get online tonite and find people actually bothered to take some time for little old me! best of luck to you all and i hope all your dreams come true! sticky baby vibes!

Hi I just had a fed on april 22. I only waited to put 1 in but we decided that 2 would be our best shot . We had 7 frosties and only 2 made it I am ok with that because I did not want to put any back in the freezer.Since this is the last time if it does not work I have been blessed with my daughter who is almost 3.I do not rember being this nervous the first time round all I think about is did it work or not. I just need to know so I can move forward. This is the first time in 3 years I have whated the time to go fast.

Bobby-Jo, I hope that they stick! Please let us know! I went through a FET in 11/09 after having my son (fresh cycle), and we are due in August with a little girl. It truly is a blessing when they decide to stay.... I wish you the best of luck, and I would resist the stick... its too soon to tell on any stick. With my first, I peed on a stick, and it didn't register pregnant - although I pulled the thing apart, and saw the faintest line... squinting. My hubby and I just laughed and decided to wait...
