How can you tell a child(ren) that is raised in a Wiccan home what Yule is all about and why we do not celebrate the same way a Christian does???

My daughter is only 7 months old but I have several Pagan and Wiccan friends who have older children I found these on one of there bookshelves and they let me borrow them while I was pregnant. Its a group of books by Ellen Jackson. Each one about the changing seasons titled as so "Summer Solstice", "Winter Solstice", "Spring Equinox", and "Fall Equinox" They explain why each season is celebrated gives a examples of the wheel of the year and has illustrations.

the winter Solstice one might help you answer some of these Question as for explaining your family doesn't celebrate Christmas is a more personal one, But the Basic way would be to explain that you don't believe in the same God as Christians do and there for you do not celebrate that ritual. instead create a child friendly ritual that will make your child feel special and good about your Wiccan family and Yule.
