Does anyone advertise on Facebook? I'm doing some research on the using Facebook as a marketing tool.

Has anyone ever become a fan of a product on Facebook? What was your motivation on becoing a fan?

I have two ads running; one inviting users to become facebook fans and the other for a pre-release of the product. I have a $5 dollar daily limit on both. I get about 12 clicks a day with one or two fans a day for the fan ad. About 20-25 a day for the other.



I'm thinking about stopping those ads and running a contest; basically giving away a set of cups a day for a week. My marketing strategy is based on customers recommending to their friends.
