I am just curious to were I stand with my baby weight. Is there a golden rule when you have to lose your weight by before being considered just a plain fatty?



Pre-prego weight: 169 lbs

Weight at end of pregnancy: 209lbs

Current weight: 189 lbs

Total weight lost: 20lbs



How are yah all doing?

I gained a ton when I was pregnant with my boy...from 115 to 180Lbs the day I delivered him ! I'm withing 5 Lbs of my pre-preg weight now, but I didn't lose my weight in a healthy way , stress, nursing, c-section and moving 4x during his first 2 months...



I'd stick with the 9 months up 9 months down rule. Everyone is different too...



...besides...soon you'lll lose it all ( and then some ) running after a toddler :)

I gained A LOT of weight in my pregnancy...I was about 140- 145 lbs before pregnant and by the end I had gained 60lbs! Within 4 weeks, I had lost 30lbs, and to this day (12 weeks later)I have lost 55lbs total! Honestly like they always say, everybody is different...and breastfeeding did it for me! I feel and look great less than 4 months later! :D

Hi,



I was 160 before I got pregnant and weight 190 towards the end. Currentaly I weight 170- I can't wait to loose the baby weight!! I think it all depends on your body and how you loose weight. I know I'm going to have to work at it... It's hard right now because I just came back to work so I feel like I dont have a lot of time to work out also we still are getting use to our new routine. I'm waiting for Spring/Summer so I can go for walks and start my diet.

I think we all might have had some holiday influence in here too!! LOL



I was at one point 162 lbs... lost a bunch pre wedding... then life work etc kicked in and pre pregnancy was 207.. gained 30 lbs approximately and now currently sitting at 226.  I would like to get back down until 200 by the summer so i can fit into my clothes again. I'm up a size or 2 right now and still wearing stretchy track pants! LOL. Can't wait for spring to get out for 2 hour walks! Weather is too unpredictable right now and I take a chance going out most days.

i was 195 before pregnancy, lost a bunch of weight during first 6 months. weighed 195 when i delivered and am currently about 160.

I was 155lbs when I got pregnant. I was 175lbs when I delivered. I am back to 155lbs but even at my pre-pregnancy weight, my body is definitely more rolly and it's definitely not the same. Luckily I can wear all the same clothes and still wear a 10 or 11 comfortably. I would like to lose 20lbs though!

Hey ladies I weighed 146lbs before I fell pregnant with my first, She was born November 21st 2007 and then I fell pregnant with my son who was born November 3rd 2008 and as of now I weigh 130lbs.



I think my weight loss has something to do with me taking YAZ or I'm just lucky, I gained 40-50lbs with both my kids and you couldn't tell at 9 months I looked 4 months pregnant. And everyone would always ask me did I give birth to them.

Weight Watchers worked for my husband and I. I lost 30 pounds (in 4 months) (then got pregnant right away) and my husband lost 50 pounds (in 4 months as well)!

Pre pregnancy weight was around 135. I gained 29lbs and 4 months later I'm down to 141. Just 6 more to go!!! And TONS of toning up to do!

I tipped the scales at 213 when I delivered and I had started at 156. After all the in vitro shots I packed on some weight before my actual pregnancy even began, ugh! I have been doing weight watchers for a week now and lost 4.8 lbs in just one week. I am now 194.8. Weight Watchers is such a great plan...I did it before my wedding a few years ago an went from a size 12 at 153 lbs. to a size 2 at 123 lbs. I did it in just over 4 months! I seriously suggest weight watchers to anyone trying to find that perfect diet for post baby body!

Pre-pregnancy I was 145pds, got to 179, and am now 160pds 3 months after while breastfeeding. I fit in half of the pants I did pre-prego but went up 1 size pants in general. My sisters took around 2 years to get back to the original shape/weight. I hope to keep my larger cup size ;) but not whats left of my belly.

I gained about 50 pounds with my twin pregnancy and was back in my pre-pregnancy jeans by 8 weeks post-partum.  Breastfeeding was the key.

I only put on 9 kilos during my pregnancy and weighed less than I did b4 I got pregnant a week after his birth... thank you breast feeding!

When I had my son I weighed 228 lbs, and when I left the hospital 5 days after weighed 200 lbs (I was really sick and almost died though, and was in ICU) ... and now I still weigh 200 lbs. I am a chubber because I eat too much still (thank goodness for breastfeeding, it allows me to stay where I am weight wise).



I have two cousins who had babies after me and both of them have lost most of their baby weight. I think it is person dependent!!!

I weighed 95(yikes) when I got pregnant. I gained 40 pounds. I weigh 110 now. I want to lose another 5 or so pounds, or at least tone up. I look like I am 3-4 months pregnant. LOL

It's been four months since I had my son. I weighed in at 133 when I found out I was pregnant and I gained about 45 lbs. during my pregnancy. Not sure where I'm at today...I'm almost afraid to step on a scale. But I've heard it can take a full year until you start to get your body back.

I was 110kgs at the end of my pregnancy and have lost 12kgs and it has been nearly 4 months since I had my daughter.
