I have been bathing my son in the big bath snce he was about 8 weeks. I have a large sponge which is designed for baby's body and i lay him on that in the big bath and just put a few inches of water in the tub. I bought a seat to put him in and tried last week but he can't quite sit up yet and is also too slim to be supported by the seat so i'll wait a while before i try that again!!

Heather, i wondered about the putting the bumbo in the bath as it seems a really good idea so i think i might try that tonight xx

i give my baby a bath in the big bath. i fill it up with just a tiny bit of water and she loves all the room she has to kick and play in it. she loves bath time and i also have more room to wash her in

My son outgrew his baby bath at about 4 months. At my baby shower, I recieved an inflatable ducky bath tub, and he loves it. I have seen them at Target and Wal-Mart. It is big enough that he will be able to use it for about 6 more months, and it hangs on the back of the tub when its not in use.......

I have the eurobath that is awesome. It goes in the nomal bath tub. One part of it is for when babies cannot sit up unsupported and the other end is when they can but are still too little for the big tub. You can get it at Babies R Us or Bed Bath and Beyond.

I am starting to do what Jocelyn does by putting around an inch of water in the bath tub and letting my LO lie down. I learned it from a previous diaper of emergency.

I have a big bath pillow made especially for baby. I got it from a friend. My son loves it. He won't slip anywhere in the bath since he lays in it.

Emily outgrew her baby bath too so we just lay her in the big bath on top of a towel. My only issue is that the water cools down too quickly because of the larger surface area.

I was in Sears yesterday and they do sell an inflatable bathtub that you can put in the big bath but they need to sit up in it.

They outgrow everything so quickly it's almost a waste to buy certain things.

I use the big tub and have since she was about a month old...after having a c-section in was a pain standing up and holding her in the baby bath coz it hurt!!

I put about an inch of warm water in the tub & let my girl just lay in it. She loves it cuz she can move, kick & splash. Just make sure you are they incase she decides she wants to roll or something, so you can stop her. My daughter would stay in the tub forever this way if I would allow it. She likes it way better then the baby tub.

I have a quick shower then fill up the big bath and get in with my baby. Its fun and relaxing for us both. My bubs out grew the baby bath about a month ago and it was hurting my back leaning over the big bath holding him while he kicked like mad. My older daughter gets in the bath after us so we are not wasting the water and then we bucket about half of the water out and put it on the patio plants.

I actually just use one of those newborn mesh things and lay him on it in the big tub. He loves it when you put him on his tummy over it.

we are almost at that point too. I plan to buy a baby bath seat. First Years makes one and Safety First. One actually attaches to the side of the tub. The baby sits in it, just like a bumbo chair.
