Our winter is just around the corner and it is really getting chilly in the evenings. My baby sleeps in his own room. I put him in one of those sleeping bags and put a blanket over him, but he still manage to kick the blanket off. I'm scared that he will get sick if I put the AC or a oil heater on. Help!!

I've got a really thick merino sleeping bag for my son and he never gets cold - the merino keeps their temperature even - it's wonderful! His bag is a Merino Kids Go Go Bag.

I noticed it's chilly now in the evenings as well, I put Cam in his pjs and use his grobag sleeping bag (2.5 tog) he is so very cozy in it. If it gets too cold just try warmer clothing under the sleeping bag.

i am so sorry to hear that your winter is coming..our spring has started!!
what i did was plug in an extra hearter pretty close to my LO crib, put socks on him, dress him in a comfy cotton on fleece sleeper, with an undershirt. My LO sleeps in his cib by my bed so when he kicks off the blanket, i cover him up. i believe and have heard, that having a room a little cool is better for the baby. reduces SIDS. I wouldnt worry to much...as long as he seems warm when you pick him up. He will let you know if he is cold thats forsure!!

I had a bunch of outfits that footies, and hand coverings. For my LO when it was really cold here bc she would kick off the blankets. She still does but it's not as cold anymore so I don't worry as much. Here's an example of what I mean.
