I am curious how many naps a day other almost 7 month olds are taking. Layla is still taking 3 but I am wondering if its time to switch to 2. She sleeps 1 1/2 hours in the morning 2 hours in the afternoon and about an hour around 6pm. At night sleeps from 9:30-10pm until 6:30 for a feeding then back to sleep until 8:30. I was thinking maybe she would go to bed earlier if I can do away with that evening nap. Any thoughts?

mine still takes 3 naps she is 6 1/2 months old. she usually sleeps 1.5 morning, 2 in afternoon and 30-45 min in evening. Her evening one has shorten because she has a much older sister who has swim practice everyday so the nap gets interrupted to pick her up. but she goes to bed about 8:30 and is up around 6:30 the next morning

You can certainly switch her to 2 naps a day and put her down earlier. My daughter will be 7 mos next week and just gave up her 3rd nap about 2 weeks ago. She goes down for the night between 6-6:30pm and is up at 6-6:30am. She usually has a nap around 9:30-10am for 1-1.5 hours and another one around 2:30-3pm for 1-1.5 hours. If she's taking her 3rd nap around 6pm this could easily turn into her bedtime if you want it to. Usually babies switch into night time sleep around 6pm anyway so it shouldn't be a problem.
